On the radio today, there was for subject: who would you like to meet?
Then, I transpose the question for you, for the scrapbook…
What artist of scrapbook would like to meet?
If you could follow a workshop that would be with whom?
That can be two different people, like that can be the same artist.
Tell us why.
From my part, I would like to meet Riikka Rovasin. It is my favorite artist and she has the so nice air!!!
As for the workshop, let us say that I would like that she gives me some tricks, but I would like to see in person the work of Tim Holtz Cool, the question to learn everything on Distress!!!
And you Ladies?February 1, 2016 at 9:29 am #437514
The person I’d most like to meet and have a class with would be Gabrielle Pollacco. I’ve admired her work since I first started scrapbooking, and I still love her work today.
When I was very first starting out scrapbooking I used to try to copy her designs ?February 1, 2016 at 5:57 pm #437575February 1, 2016 at 6:04 pm #437577
I’d like to meet and take a class from Heather Jacob. She has amazing designs!February 1, 2016 at 7:34 pm #437583
HooBoy… that’s a tough one! There are SO many I could name. The first one that pops to mind though is Lynne Forsythe. She used to be a Swirly educator and I loved her tutorials. She seemed so genuine and down to earth… someone who puts you at ease. I love the way she uses paint so freely and doesn’t worry about little imperfections… and being a flower lover… I would love to get some tips from her on how she creates those gorgeous flower clusters that she does.February 1, 2016 at 8:45 pm #437587
I too would like to meet Heather Jacob and take a class

For me it would be Di Garling. The things she does with color in her layouts is great.

Well, here’s another vote for Heather Jacob. Her designs look so simple at first glance, but then you realize how much detail is in each page and how easy she makes it seem!!!! (Well, no, it’s not easy if you try, is it?)
Kathi has attended Timmy classes in the past and has come home with some incredible projects, so yes, I’d love to go to one of those.
Even more, I’d love to attend a Prima Art Adventure – the entire thing. I do enjoy getting my hands dirty and I’d like to have some of those amazing designers show me in person “how it’s done”!
(My answer seems to be all over the place, doesn’t it? My brain is in full bicycle riding mode tonight!)

Yes Heather Jacob’s work is amazing, I love everything she makes. Same goes for Di Garling.
Although I would love to meet about 100 scrapbookersFebruary 2, 2016 at 5:59 pm #437718February 2, 2016 at 9:35 pm #437757
I’d also like to meet the ENTIRE Swirlydoos DT!!!!!
I’ve been scrapping with Kim, Rae and Jan a lot (and learning a lot by watching them!); it would be such a thrill to meet Angelica, Cindy and Bec!!!!!!
