Let's say… For someone who first starts scrapbooking… What would you buy them?

    A good paper trimmer.

I think I'd buy a DCWV Stack to get their paper obsession started. It packs a nice punch for your buck 🙂

A paper trimmer, cutter bee scissors, ruler, tape runner, and a nice paper pad

The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."

Paper trimmer, basic tools, double sided tape, glue, a Swirly kit (but for some reason it would end up on my desk)

I agree with everything above, but I would also add Photoshop software. I would be lost without it.

                          Hmmmmmm……
I've actually been thinking about this off and on because my sister-in-law wants me to get her started when I visit her this fall.
I've been thinking about all of the things that I bought when I started and how much of them I actually use.
And then I think about the fact that some ladies lose interest so quickly and I don't want her to end up with a pile of stuff.
So here's what I'm going to advise her to buy at first (if she doesn't own these things already; she can always add on later.
                          Cutterbee or Honeybee scissors.
A pair of large office scissors.
                          A good ruler.
                          An exacto knife.
                          A pencil.
                          A Pilot pen.
A small brown chalk ink pad.
                          A small tape runner.
                          A small bottle of glue.

And that's it. She lives outside of Boston, so I'll be able to show her which tools she'll need to do other things.
And if she ends up preferring Project Life, she won't be out any money.

Now, what I'D buy, that's another story, hehehehehe…….
