A photo tutorial by: Paulien van den Bosch

Using the July Main Kit Collection The Paper Doll

      Itisthelittle600.jpg

And here's how I did this page.

      1-17.jpg

I cut out this frame using my kraft knife. The backside of this paper is used as my background.

      2-16.jpg

I cut out this gorgeous rose frame.

      3-16.jpg

I used the blue Pion paper for my second layer. Tore about one inch of each side.

      4-16.jpg

Positioned the Kaisercraft diecut paper, traced along the edge with a pencil, and cut it out.

      5-14.jpg

I slightly inked the top and bottom edge of the paper and glued it down.

      6-15.jpg

I layed out my frames to see, where I wanted to add my paint.

      7-1-1.jpg

made some pencil marks at the top

      7-2-1.jpg

and the bottom and removed the frames.

      8-14.jpg

I mixed up 2 colors of Distress Crackle paint and added it to my page using a scrap of cardstock.
You can also use a spatula or an olde creditcard, to add the paint.

      9-14.jpg

After it dried I added some Gesso to add some extra interest.

      10-11.jpg

I cut out this part, from another sheet of PP

      11-14.jpg

glued it at the left top of my oval shaped mat. I pop dotted the little flowers.

      12-14.jpg

I painted a piece of the trim and after it dried I cut it into little pieces. Perfect to form a branch or twigs.

      13-14.jpg

I layed out my embellies, punched some leaves out, and cut of one of the barcode strips and pleated it.

Time to add my picture. I cut it in shape and sanded the edges.

      14-13.jpg

all was left was, add a title…give it some glitter using diamond stickles, and get my page adhered to a background cardstock. and I was finished.

      here are some close up's:

"Some cars look like they're going fast when they're standing still. The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."
