You will lea step by step how I constructed this layout…
The floral paper will be your base
Cut your pink striped paper into a shape. I made a template from a Bo Bunny Die Cut paper on cardboard. I use this template often. I did not show this step in this pic, but you can use the one of the stamps in your kit to stamp the scallop part of your cut paper. This is just an option. You can also ink the edges of your paper for a more vintage look.
Make sure your shaped paper does not cover your floral base paper. You want a descent amount of the floral paper showing.
Now tu both papers to the wrong side and trace your shaped paper onto the back of the floral paper.
Cut the shape out of the floral paper about 1 inch away from the drawn line towards the center..NOT towards the edge. This i sthe paper you will fussy cut your flowers from.
Now flip your papers over to the right sides and adhere the stripe paper onto the floral paper.
From that saved piece of floral paper, choosing the flowers carefully, start cutting out clusters of flowers and set aside. Cut at least 4 clusters.
Using the green card stock cut it slightly smaller than the shaped paper. Edge punch the 2 sides and adhere to paper as shown.
Place your fussy cut flowers around your punched matting as shown. You may want to place more flowers for a fuller effect.
Cut the blue doily shaped circle from one of the other papers in the kit, then cut the circle in half. Adhere both halfs onto the green edge punched paper as shown.
Adhere your cluster of flowers on the bottom of the page in between your fussy cut flowers
Mat your photo with some paper and adhere the photo on top of but set to the side of the half circles.
Place your title to the right of the photo and fill in the gap between the circles. I created the matted words in Microsoft Word. The Faux Scrabble Tile Letters can be found in the tutorial section here. This is your finished LO.July 5, 2011 at 5:02 am #124473

OIK lisa I am a little confused. What happens to the paper that has the blue with once upon a springtime. It appears on the 5th picture but I am not sure why except to use to draw the line? It looks to me like it is not part of the lo? Where did I get confused? TY I noticed the little three flowers start out white and end up orange. Did you paint them?July 5, 2011 at 6:27 am #124472
It's the back of the striped paper. I guess she flipped it to make sure not to accidentally draw on the striped side, since she was going to use that side.July 5, 2011 at 6:28 am #124479July 5, 2011 at 6:31 am #124480
TY Camille. I knew it would be something simple. I never thought about two sided paper. gesh!July 5, 2011 at 6:42 am #124481

"Some cars look like they're going fast when they're standing still. The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."July 5, 2011 at 11:24 am #124483
