Hi all! Welcome to the April Card Challenge
This month the challenge theme is Mini Cards, Kim inspired me with the Clean and Simple RR challenge this month, so I though why not make some simple cards. I chose mini cards because they are easy to make and they require less embellishing. Plus if you need to make several cards at once then mini cards are the way to go.
The challenge will run from the 1st day of the month until the last day of the month.
You do not have to use the current Swirlydoos Kit, any materials are fine. But it is a brilliant excuse to use up the leftovers from your kits.
The winner each month with be chosen at random…..so even if your not an expert card maker you can still win ? The winner with receive one of the cards that I have made for the month.
So if you would like to win one of these cards that I made with the April 2017 kit.
Load your entries here by April 30th.
The more entries the more chances to win.April 1, 2017 at 10:59 pm #460514

Thanks everyone ❤
The cards don’t need to be any certain size, just smaller than a regular card.
My cards measure 4 1/8 x 3 5/8 inches. This is because I cut the blue paper I had left into 4 pieces. I never measure anything which is why it ended up a random size.April 3, 2017 at 1:36 pm #460584

Bec – this was such a great idea; we all know what it’s like with our leftover bits and pieces: do I add them to the pile that’s gathering dust in some drawer or admit that they’ll be victims of the next purge and toss them now? And face it, making a few quick and easy cards is FUN!!!!
Here’s what I came up with. They’re all about 4″ square, give or take. It all depended on the size of the scrap of pattern paper I used.
