Awesome idea Paulien!!!
"Some cars look like they're going fast when they're standing still. The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."August 23, 2011 at 4:40 pm #133454August 23, 2011 at 5:06 pm #133455August 23, 2011 at 5:31 pm #133456August 23, 2011 at 6:00 pm #133457August 23, 2011 at 6:34 pm #133458

Gee, thank you Pauline! I am really honoured that you have liked my last couple of cards because I am inspired by YOU! So it is such a thrill. I started making cards when my parents reached the age where they said (on birthdays) we don't need anything – don't get us anything. Well how can you do that???? So I decided to start making them cards. They just love them, but I've backed myself into a coer because I'll never get away with a purchased card again now! 🙂 . My cards have become much better since I joined swirlydoos, so thank you everyone for the inspiration and tutorials.August 23, 2011 at 7:13 pm #133462
ohhhhh! I've NEVER made a card before…..wonder if I can????
Of course you CAN. They're fun too!August 24, 2011 at 1:51 am #133463
Just finished one up and will take a pic tomorrow. I don't normally make cards so I have a question? How do you generally decorate the inside?August 24, 2011 at 7:31 am #133464
oh it would be so awesome to see your cards in the gallery.
Debbie…. Sure you can. They are like mini layouts!
Linda… Yep… that is the conseqense…. if you once give a handmade card…. they want them in the future too. lol Your cards are soooo Gorgeous!!!!
Can't wait to see you card Sherri!!! Sometimes I do decorate the inside, but then I mostly do some stamping on it. The other times, when I want to write a message, I'd leave them plain.August 24, 2011 at 1:38 pm #133465
Something I leaed from my sister: Create a message (or use something available online) and print it up in your work processor. There, you can format it just the way you want then print it out on nice paper or vellum, whatever, trim it, and fasten it to the inside page.
Like Paulien, I may leave it plain and fill it with a message.
