Here is a layout create with just the June main kit *Boys Night Out*. I will show you my step by step process.

I first gathered the papers I wanted to use. I started with these.

Then I gathered the embellishments that would compliment my photo.

Next I moved my layers around on my background paper until I was happy with my design. I also added some random stamping and I used a piece of cardstock and a die from my stash to make the filmstrip. Don’t forget all the goodies you have available in your stash to compliment the kit.

Then I placed my picture (which I altered to a sepia color in photoshop) and added my embellishments. To get the most out of your embellishments, cut pieces in half, like I did the clock sticker.

Also to give your layout more dimension, distress edges, use foam tape to create layers (I placed foam tape of different depths on my layers and photo). This also gives you a way to to tuck embellishments under your layers.

So here is the final layout.

Hope this gives you so ideas on how to use just the main kit. Now let me see what you do with just the main kit.

Love the photo. The random stamping is a nice touch.
