I am a consumer of leaves on a large scale! Tons of leaves I buy and only the good ones I use (I buy a packet of Prima Marketing
leaves and use only the green ones, not the brown ones)
This costs a lot of money.
Then I came across this picture on the net:

And then I thought: I can do this myself!!!
So I drove to IKEA and bought half a meter of AINA fabric (white) (this cost me eur 3,50)
I cut small leaves from this fabric and sprayed it with my green glimmer mist.
When the leaves were dry, I inked the edges with Distress Ink (tea dye) and look, here's the result:
I am now wondering how many leaves I can make out of this fabric. I guess a lot!!!! ;-)

Brilliant! What a great idea. Did you use a die cut or cut them by hand?

Jennie, I cut them by hand, but you could easily use a die-cutting machine as well (vagabond)

I'm wondering the same thing–Aida or Aina? Looking at the close up I'd say Aida but a very hi count like 24 or so. LOVE the technique…!!!

"Some cars look like they're going fast when they're standing still. The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."
