I love all of the layered details – the bits of burlap and drywall tape, the varied embellies and of course, the chicken wire!!! Beautiful page!!!!

Here is my entry for the Peach Blossom All that Flutters.
My fluttering element is the butterfly on the BFS chipboard.
This is DD running to greet me when I got back from a Clare Charvil workshop. She was out walking my dog with Grandad when I got back so I walked down the road to meet them and surprise her. She looked very happy to see me. That’s my Dad and my dog Evie in the background!
I used lots of wet distressing on the edges, ink distressing and fussy cutting in this. I also used a torn strip of the resist paper and coloured it with distress inks. I added bits of the brown lace into the layers of my wet distressing.
My chippie piece I painted in gesso first, then highlighted the butterfly and jewels with some Art Anthology Sorbet dimensional paint, from a previous kit, when dry I then carefully covered the rest in a platinum coloured embossing powder. I finished the chippie off with some mica flakes on the bow.
The layout was finished off with some mica flakes and splatting and dabbing of some gold Shimmerz Inklingz
