I'm trying to use Moonshadow Mist on one of the Kaisercraft wooden die cuts that came with the writing desk, but it just pools on top. I'm going to try to let it dry like that and see if it works, but otherwise is there something you can do to prep materials like wood so that they absorb the mist better?

Jackie, did you try sanding it a bit first? It may take off whatever coating the is one them that keeps the mist from penetrating the wood.

I agree- sand it. Or, let it pool and hit it with a heat gun if you can't wait for it to dry. I can NEVER wait.

Sand it a bit, and then I generally prime it with some paint. The Moonshadow Mist is going to look like a fairly normal sepia color on the wood.

Thanks, ladies! I would have never thought of sanding it first.
