Well, let me be the rebel and post early. (I hope it’s okay; I created an album for October on Facebook.)
This month, I decided to showcase this little guy who was wandering up and down Race Point Beach in Provincetown, Cape Cod looking for scraps among all of the footprints in the sand.
I’ve used my remaining sheet of the Bo Bunny Bella Rosa pattern paper that came in the September kit from Swirlydoos as my base. I’ve done quite a bit of layering under my photo, using KaiserCard cardstock from previous kits and Core’dinations Teal Quarterfoil, along with a few scraps tucked in here and there.
Next, I cut one of the Doodlebug mini doilies in half and added them to the sides of my photo. Under it all, there’s a Creative Embellishments Wavy Cut Filmstrip chippie that I’ve left bare and on top, I’ve placed a bit of seashell that I bought in an antique shop.
My embellishment cluster is pretty simple: a couple of blooms from the Prima Vintage Emporium package from the kit, along with some metal pieces and a few Memory Hardware pearls.
To add a little interest, I’ve dabbed some Ranger Glossy Accents along the insides of the doilies and under the flowers and poured on a mixture of Art-C Bead Mix and POP micro beads, both in gold.
There are two journaling tags peeking out from under the layers; they’re made from the Prima flower packaging, a couple of eyelets and bits of twine.
Here is a list of the tools I used and how I used them:
Fiskars squeeze punch to make the hexagons on the bottom
Zutter Distrezz on the edges of the layers under my photo
Zutter Bow-It-All to make the twine bow for the embellie cluster
Vagabond (and Sizzix Thinlets Adventure Words die) to make the title
We R Memory Keepers Big Bite to attach the eyelets on the journaling tags

Here’s mine for week one:
I used the following tools:
1. Distresser. Of course. On many of the layers. 🙂
2. Punch on one of the pink layers under the pic.
3. Kemper splatter brush tool for the black and white splatters.
4. Heat gun for the embossing powder on the chipboard circle piece.
5. Typecast typwriter for the “journaling” on the Beauty tag in the bottom right corner.
