Hi! I’m Rae. I live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and three children. I used to teach high school English, but now I am a stay at home mom.  I started this wonderful hobby of scrapbooking in 2007 to preserve the memories of a family vacation, and since then, I have been absolutely obsessed! I love to create layouts and projects of all kinds, but I tend to go for the fancy elegant look, or the "Swirly" style as I like to call it, so you can imagine my excitement  when I was asked to join the Swirlydoos design team! It is an honor to a part of this amazing team!

You may contact Rae at

My name is Kimberly (Droopidog) Heard. I’ve been married for 19 yrs and we have no children. Since it’s just the 2 of us we travel as often as we like. Most of my scrappy subjects are involve the many adventures of the Mr and I. Boy does he provide me with plenty of fun and funny scrappy photos. Have to love a man who doesn't mind my scrappy addiction.
I started scrapping in 2001, after my mom died.  I had all these copies of photos and didn’t know what to do with them. I had a friend that was into scrapbooking so I called her. Once I did my first page, I was hooked.

Like any good scrapper, I am never without my camera and am always looking for an opportunity to take scrap worthy pictures. Please visit my blog sometime at:

Swirlydoos scrapbook kit club, design team, angelica franssen

Hello. My name is Angelica. I live in Washington  with my husband of 13 years and my four beautiful children. I first started scrapbooking almost 12 years ago, when my husband was serving in the U.S NAVY. He was gone often, I had hundreds of pictures of my girls and I needed an outlet. So, scrapbooking it was and STILL is!!! Scrapbooking plays a very important part in my life. It's not just about attaching photos to an album . It's a way to express myself all the while preserving sweet memories of my children's lives. I feel that my style is Shabby Chic and Over Embellished (the more the merrier right?!). I love showcasing my photos with all the pretties. It's such an honor to be designing for Swirlydoos....a swirly girls dream!!

My blog:

educator/card queen

Hi, my name is Paulien van den Bosch. I'm 40 years old, (shhh don't tell anyone) and I'm married for 20 years to Kees. We have 3 daughters ages 20, 17 and 12. We have a 1 year old labrador, and a kitty who is almost 4. Together we live in Castricum. This is a small village in The Netherlands right by the sea. I first learned about scrapbooking back in 2004 and it has brought me a lot of joy, stress relief and some very good friends through the years. I love to play with a variety of products, and I also love to try different styles. Most of my work is judged as Shabby Chic or Vintage, I call it: Made with Love! I'm not a girlie girl in daily life, so it looks like I compensate for that in my scrapbooking. I love anything scrapbook related, but mainly create mini albums, layouts, and cards. I'm very much excited to be designing for Swirlydoos. In fact, I was doing the happy dance when I was asked! I feel honored and grateful for getting this change to work with these amazing kits and ridiculously talented design team.

sketch designer extraordinaire

Hi everyone. I am Bergpora but I often go by the nickname, Beggahuna. I'm an Icelandic scrapbooker, and I'm totally addicted to this amazing craft. Mum to a beautiful girl, who is my biggest scrapbook inspiration, and I've just welcomed a second girl in January, 2011.

I love everything within design and photography. The first time I went to draw a sketch was because I dreamed it and wanted to put it on paper before I forgot it. Now I can not stop creating them!

All of Swirlydoos Sketches are created by our very talented sketch artist - Beggahuna.

Jamie has been in the crafting industry for the past ten years and has had her first signature collection produced with Prima Marketing Inc, called the Bloom Collection. Her collection stemmed off of her fine art pieces, which have been lovingly dubbed "Bloom Girls". Jamie's Bloom Girls have become a signature of hers and she teaches Bloom Girl workshops over the internet and abroad. She can't wait to share the techniques she's learned over the years.

Hi, I am Maggi Harding, and my home is in eastern North Carolina, but, sometimes I claim the world as home. I have spent most of my life wandering, as a child with my parents because my Dad was in the Army, and, as an adult, because I wanted to. By the time I was 18 I had been to 9 different schools, lived in France, Japan, Germany, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and North Carolina. My husband and I share our home with our two standard poodles, or spoos as we call them. We love to travel and do so mostly in our RV so that our spoos can accompany us wherever we go. We have been from Key West, Florida to Fairbanks, Alaska and from the Pacific shores of California to the Atlantic shores of North Carolina in our well travelled motorhome! I discovered scrapbooking in 2005 when I decided to make scrapbooks for my two best friends from college. It quickly became my passion and something that I spend hours doing and never grow tired of my efforts. In 2010 I really stepped up my game when I joined Swirlydoos and my style of scrapping was forever changed. For me, scrapbooking is an artistic adventure, what can I create, how can I make this piece of paper come to life? Along with scrapping the pictures, I love to tell the stories and often reflect on how to tell the story hidden in my photographs. Scrapbooking has awakened my “inner artist” and satisfies the creative side of my brain that was long neglected during my career as a CPA. I am really happy to be a stay at home retired crazy scrapbook lady!

Helena Johansson Scrapbook Designer

My name is Helena Johansson and I’m from the south of Sweden. I sometimes call myself Willea in scrapforums. I’m 42 years old and live in a small village with my dh and our two children, 8 and 12 years old. I have been scrapbooking for 7 years now, and I can’t imagine that I will ever stop! Scrapbooking is my passion and my therapy. It’s my way to have a little bit of time of my own, to relax. My style is shabby and romantic, sometimes with a touch of vintage. I use lots and lots of flowers on my pages, and also love to use chipboard and other embellishment – the more the better! I find it fun to try new techniques, and right now I use gesso, texture paste and embossing powder on almost everything. I currently design for the Dusty Attic and Petaloo.

I mostly scrap about my sweet children, even though they aren’t so little anymore and hardly want to be photographed. My daughter, who is 8 years old, loves to scrapbook too and it’s so fun to have this hobby and to be able to share it with her. She loves to invite her friends home and show them her mom’s scraproom!

Some fun facts about me: I am not very fond of chocolate. I drink way too much coffee. I love to sing out loud when I’m driving. I wanted to be either an actress when I was younger, but I became a social worker. I am not an organized scrapper, my scrap room is a mess. I do know where to find everything though. Well, almost everything.

I am super excited to join the Swirlydoos designteam! Swirlydoos kits are amazing and I have loved them for years. I really look forward to getting to know everybody and I hope I will be able to inspire you!

Hi, I´m Maja Stokk from Sweden a full time working teacher in mathematics and science subjects, married and mother of five children. I have been into scrapbooking since 2008 and love it! For me scrapbooking is meditation and a perfect way to live out my creativity. I always try to develop myself and love to try new things. I  say that I don´t have any paticular scrappy style, but I guess it´s romantic and sometimes a bit grungy. I love flowers, layers and to play with stamps, stencils and paint.  I do mostly layouts but also some cards, canvases and altered things.

I´m so happy to be a part of Swirlydoos kit club team.

Hi!  I'm Debbie Sherman from the Cowboy State, big beautiful Wyoming!  I'm so ecstatic be part of the Swirlydoos DesignTeam!  I've been admiring this team for a long time! When I'm not scrap booking I am a road designer, photographer, wife, mother, grandmother of 7, auntie and friend. I have been crafting since I was a little girl.  I started out sewing and making jewelry around the age of 7 and have been creating ever since.  I still bead and sew but now it's mostly on my paper projects.  I love photography and sometimes get that "great shot" that all photographers live for!  I am fortunate enough to have a press pass and am able to shoot big events occasionally. The city I live in has a yearly old west celebration called the"Daddy of 'em all" and I'm fortunate enough to attend the big rodeo's, Native Americans and several other events in town. With my press pass I have front row seating for these events which allows for some awesome photos. With all the photos I take it gives me the perfect reason to scrap them! I'll be sharing some of those with all of you! I'm so excited to be part of this wonderful team and hope to inspire and be inspired along the way.

I am a Mixed Media artist, Product designer and an Educator for several manufacturers in both the Crafting and Arts industry such as Faber Castell Design Memory Craft, Lindy’s Stamp Gang, Prima Marketing Inc and more.  I do have another job of course which is by far the best one! I am a mom to two beautiful daughters and a wife to a husband that is beyond supportive of my passion and my work.

My classes are primarily focused on discovery of mediums and techniques both in the Mixed Media world and Scrapbooking/Crafting industry .  I am a technique Junkie which always takes me to a road of discovery myself which in turn I provide to my students.  My passion is teaching but more importantly it is my mission in life to enliven others and allow them to discover their hidden talents.  I love watching my students find their new self expression in a piece of art especially when at the beginning they feel constrained.   I have the privilege to travel around the world and share my passion around the globe

Swirlydoos Kit Club holds design and education team calls at least annually. However; we are always looking for amazingly talented, outgoing, friendly, knowledgable artists to join our team. Our designers and educators must be able to devote the time necessary to our community, to our members, and to their artwork. Our educators must be able to record excellent quality tutorial videos wherein they teach our members techniques, tips, tricks, and projects based on the monthly kits and technique kits. We are especially interested in meeting you if you can rock the camera!
