This is a tutorial using the main kit for January 2015, Bejeweled. I have also use some of the items from the mediums add on,
but you could easily incorporate your own products to get a similar look.

Let's start with cutting up the layers!

I cut an 8 inch square out of the Conservatory paper, and used that to cut the 8.5 in. oval ring out with my Cameo. The large
piece will be my first layer of my layout.

For my next layer, I cut a half inch off of two sides of the Bountiful paper so it would fit on my first layer like this:

I used both sides of the Botanical Garden paper. The layer on the right is 12X6, and then I am using the opposite side for a
      smaller layer, which is 6X4.

For the Meadows of Time paper, I am using the shorter tall layer on the left, which is 11X5.

I also cut out an ATC size layer out of the Calling Cards paper. Now that I have all of my layers cut, it's time to ink and
distress my layers. I started with the distresser you see in the picture, and I also used my Distrezz-it-All for some of the layers.

Next, it's time to add some mixed media elements! I have used the stencil and sand effects medium from the mediums add on.

I've added the stenciling to look as though it'scoming out from undeeath the rectangle layers of my layout. Once dry, I used
the blue mist from the mediums add on, and dried that too.

Next, I cut twp twelve inch pieces of the lace, and colored them with mist and ink.

Then adhered them to the back of this layer using scor-tape so it peeks out when you flip it over.

At this point, I can glue down my layers.

I want to pop up the oval so it sits nicely and adds dimension.

I also want the photo mat to be raised.

I used one of the birdcage stamps on a paper scrap from one of the layers I made, and fussy cut it.

The wax cord holds it's shape well, so I wrapped it around a file to use in my flower arranging.

And now it's time to glue down the rest of my embellishments!

I used the Blue Fe chipboard piece- I only painted it with gesso, then added some of the dangling trinkets at the bottom.

I added my birdcage I cut out, along with the Petaloo flowers in random spots with the spiraled wax cord.

I cut out the happiness title using my Cameo.

And, I used the cinnamon Stickles to the oval frame.

Fabulous tutorial, Rae!! And such a gorgeous layout!

"Some cars look like they're going fast when they're standing still. The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."
