I research a lot due to Kevin's injuries, always trying to find new ideas and therapies, etc. So although Kev is not autistic, his loss of brain has caused many of the symptoms of autism from time to time.

Anyway, I came across this 4 part article tonight and just thought I'd throw it out here, knowing a few of you have autistic children.

Very fascinating. Why is it that people are so willing to take strong pharmaceuticals with severe side effects and yet be so suspicious of a natual product like marijuana? It reminds me of the battle that a group called Truehope had up here in Canada for years with Health Canada. They developed a combination of vitamins and minerals that was proven to help with Bi-polar disorder, depression, ADHD, even Schizophrenia plus a whole host of other illnesses, and Health Canada tried to shut them down for years. Health Canada even took them to court, however, the decision was in favour of Truehope and now they are able to continue helping people without the distraction of legal problems. I hope the same thing eventually happens with the issue of medicinal marijuana. Here is the link to Truehope, if anyone is interested in what they do: http://www.truehope.com
