I am saddened for these poor people. However, I am struck by the way in which they handle adversity compared to the way Americans do. Seeing how patient and orderly these people are and how they are handling this tragedy makes me ashamed of us. I am thinking of the Katrina catrostrophe vs. the earthquake. We could lea a lot from these people. I have been watching all that has happened on TV, and I am so impressed with the way they are reacting.
I'm not the only one who's noticed the difference. I was watching CNN news, and they had an entire news segment on the difference on how they have responded compared to the Katrina tragedy. I do know that I'd like to have an entire class of Oriental students. They are wonderful.
It is heartbreaking and the nuclear problems are frightening to say the least. We can only pray.

The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."
What a sad ordeal for all those involved and the impact on families and loved ones. Some of the most impacting natural disaster pictures and videos I have ever seen. I just can not imagine standing on the hillside watching the magnitude of the water washing away towns…
