The winner of this month is, and believe me it was very HARD to choose……………
BARBARA (aka Pala)
First of all we would like to point out some rules (yes I know rules are boring, but sometimes we just need them)
Do not worry.. they are real simple and nice…
This challenge is open to anyone who wants to participate. You do NOT have to use Swirly stuff, however, (since most of us recieve these Gorgeous Swirlydoos kits) we would love to see how you put it to use on cards also.
The person who is assigned the #1 spot on each team, will submit an original card on the
first Saturday of the challenge. This card can be any style, any design, any shape, any technique, but we do LOVE to know the HOW TOS!!!!
It doesn't have to be in a step by step tutorial, just as long as there is a description, on how you completed your work of art.
The #2 person will then lift the card created by her teammate, due the following Monday.
The #3 person will then lift #2 person and posts it on the third, and final due date.
Along the week it would be fun if you could post a sneak of your card, but all cards are to be posted on the Saturday they got as duedate.
If you have a problem with this and can not post, please pm me and I can post for you.
Plz also remember to post your card in the RRC gallary..
Duedates for March are
week 1……… 9
week 2……… 16
week 3……… 23
Here are the teams.. AND OMG—->>> WE HAVE 6 TEAMS!! I'm so proud of you all!
(if I have forgot someone, put someone in a week that does not work.. plz let me know)
2. Maria (Mharms2)
2. Lisa V
3. Barbara (scrap2day)
2. Erin S
3. Lynngood 2012
1. Patty (kathyoparty)
3. Katharina (Alpinechild)
1. Gail (Magicalmagpie)
2. Barbara (Pala)
1. Steph D
3. Lisa Duke
And now for the wonderful twists…
#1. Create a, Peek -a – BOO/ Slide Out, element on your card.
#2. Use some sort of frame. (handcut – diecut – crafter's clay – resin – stamped)
#3. Everyone loved Miranda's Metal foil tape tutorial for the UDC, so I thought it would be nice to use that technique.
So there you go… at least one of the twist need to be followed.. but it sure is fun if you get them all..
Have fun and we will be waiting (impatiently) for your gorgeous cards!March 1, 2013 at 1:49 pm #203693March 1, 2013 at 2:26 pm #203694March 1, 2013 at 2:30 pm #203695March 1, 2013 at 2:53 pm #203696March 1, 2013 at 4:48 pm #203697
