Kim, thanks for a great layout for us to lift.

Maybe it’s time to fine a photo for this and get to it….

For this challenge, I decided to scrap this photo of my grandchildren helping their Dad carve pumpkins last year – a perfect image to capture the feeling of Autumn.

Here’s how I met the challenges:
Mixed Media: I’ve dabbed a bit of Prima Metallique acrylic paint here and there on the chipboard pieces; I’ve splattered my layout with watered-down gesso.
Flowers: Well, that one was easy!
Chipboard: I’ve placed a few pieces from my stash around my flower cluster.
Metals: I’ve placed them around my flowers and then scattered some more around my page.
Clock Embellishment: I’ve adhered a piece of ephemera to the bottom of my photo.

Kim, I don’t know whether or not i will get my layout done; it’s been a rough couple of weeks around here and I’m going out of town next Weds.

                                  My lift of Kim’s layout.

I scrap a photo of my granddaughter taken at the West Virginia Wesleyan College Homecoming football game. My granddaughter was the Freshmen attendant. The photo was taken at the football game but it had so much going on in the background that I decided to get rid of everything and color the background orange. Black and orange are WVW colors.

For the mixed media, I used mists and embossing powders.

For the embellishments, I used lots of flowers, chipboard swirls and bricks.

For the metal, I used a metal heart.

I added a clock between the torn paper.
