Barring any unforeseen tragic incidents, do you ever seeing yourself giving up scrapbooking? Would anything make you just quit?

I don’t see myself giving it up. It is my stress relief. I have gone for small (mostly when I’m on vacation) periods of time without scrapping and it is still on my mind.

There are even times when dh will say why don’t you go scrap. Maybe I’m being a PITA and he is trying to get rid of me πŸ™‚ I just know we are both happier when I can get some scrappy time in.

Funny you say that, Kim! My dh will also tell me to go scrap!

I don’t think I’ll stop until I’m too old to see. I love it. I thought maybe if finances drastically changed but even then, I have so much that it would take quite awhile to run out. So, no. Never stop.

I can’t think of anything that would make me quit scrapping. I go through periods of time when Mojo takes a little vacation, but she always comes back!

              LOL, Kim and Jan.

Like you all, this is my stress relief. Not only does it let me concentrate on creating rather than problems and worries and whatever, I have such a feeling of accomplishment when I’m done with a project.

Jan, I figure that when finances are tight, I have enough er, stockpiled – yes, that’s the word – to allow me to dabble as much as I need to.

There are times when the mojo is out on a bender, but I know that I’ll always be able to find her. I don’t think that I CAN quit something that I love so much!!!

A clean house is the sign of a lazy scrapper.

You are right, Peggy. It would be hard to quit something you love.

I’m never going to quit. It’s stress relief for me too, but it’s more than that for me- I miss having a job terribly, and scrapbooking gives me an identity other than “just being a mom.” I enjoy being able to be in complete control of a project from start to finish, and I love being creative. I remember before I started scrapbooking I didn’t think I was creative at all, but I’ve come a long way.

And, I admit it- shopping and organizing my stuff makes me happy also!

I think for me scrapbooking helps me to calm down because I am hyperactive.
By cons I came to realize that when I events emotional motivation is less but it’s passenger and come back quickly into the mojo as they say.
