Waiting for the previews for the winter releases. I just got all the new Prima IOD molds. Those are amazing with the Ice Resin. December 20, 2016 at 11:00 pm #455611 anniescrapsSwirly Scrapper Send PM I’m going to have to try the ice resins. I love the molds but hate using the clay. Would glue sticks work? December 21, 2016 at 3:11 am #455632 msjan1Swirly Scrapper Send PM Annie, I’ve used the metallic glue sticks just fine. You can also use embossing powders melted in the molds. December 21, 2016 at 5:04 pm #455640 anniescrapsSwirly Scrapper Send PM I’m going to give the glue sticks and embossing powder a try. the clay was horrible. they kept snapping and i couldn’t get the clay mixed enough for smoothness. It looked like really dried out cookie dough. December 21, 2016 at 6:20 pm #455642 droopidogSwirly Admin Send PM The ice resin is amazing. The mod podge glue sticks work well too. There will be a video on reveal day with the Ice Resin. Wasn’t a big fan of the Prima clay. I have some Ice Resin gathering dust, I cannot remember when I bought it; I’m looking forward to the tutorial. And yeah, that Prima clay is just too dry. I don’t mind cracks, in fact at times they look good, but this stuff just falls apart too easily. A clean house is the sign of a lazy scrapper.
